NOTICE is hereby given that the DAVIS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH will hold a public hearing in Room #2021 of the Davis County Health Department, 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Pursuant to Utah Code 26A-1-12(1), the Board of Health will hold a public hearing to afford interested persons an opportunity to submit written data, views, and comments regarding proposed changes to the Body Art Regulation. The proposed changes include repealing the current version and reenacting the proposed version, which removes most requirements from the current version and adopts Utah Administrative Code R392-701. Body Art Facility Sanitation. The Utah Administrative Code does not prohibit the practice of scarification nor branding and so those practices will no longer be prohibited and the fee schedule is amended to include a Temporary Body Art Facility Fee, Temporary Body Art Event Fee, Follow Up Fee, Late Fee, and a Plan Review Fee.
Copies of the proposed regulation are available for review at the Administration Offices of the Health Department located at 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, or the Utah Public Notice Website.
