Public Hearings Notice
Notice is hereby given that the Millcreek Planning Commission will hold two public hearings at approx. 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at City Hall, 1330 E Chambers Avenue, Millcreek, Utah 84106: 1) consideration of CU-25-001, request for a conditional use permit, seeking approval to expand the site area as well as the width and relocation of an existing monopole, at the Evergreen Junior High School, generally located at 3401 South 2000 East.
The proposal consists of removing the existing sixty-foot (60') tall monopole and replacing it with a new sixty-foot (60') tall pole. The new pole will be located approximately 10 -12 feet further to the northeast of the existing pole. This proposal would also include expanding the ground lease/site area by an additional 290 square feet immediately east of the existing site area. The applicant is also proposing to increase the width of the antenna array from a slim mount (1'-3' radius) to a 5' radius (approximately 10' to 12' in total diameter when including the pole). 2) A request to rezone a property generally located at 4261 S 700 E, from the R-1-8 (Residential Single Family) to the R-M (Residential Multi-Family) zone. The rezone would accommodate the plans of the applicant to build a residential complex, consisting of four (4) townhomes.
