Met Brian's expectations. Some Some Preschool prospects showed up. Innovation Grant - in process - meeting today with 3 teachers writing curriculum Outdoor Classroom Event - ready to use next week SCSB 5-year review - School Safety Grants - all teachers now have walkie talkies and the school will have full camera coverage by the end of the school year. 2025-26 School Land Trust - used to improve literacy - MVM will use the $ to pay Librarian salary Enrollment - potential enrollment for next year is looking like around 250 right now. Upcoming April 12 - Outdoor Classroom Celebration 1-3:00 April 17-21 Easter Break May 17 - Spring Festival 11-2:00 May 20th - Field Day May 22nd - Kindergarten Graduation 8:30 am, 7th Grade Graduation 7:00pm May 23rd - Last day of school- 12:00 Dismissal Financial Training & Report Nate Adams Financial Summary as of February 28, 2025 Financial Budget Detail Report as of February 28, 2025 Financial Balance Sheet as of February 28, 2025 Committee Reports Finance & Audit Committee - Chris Christensen, Chair Chris requests improved presentation of financial spreadsheets - Jamee will think on it and talk to Shannon Greer over the next month to learn more about legal restrictions on financial reporting in the education system Marketing & Outreach Committee - Jess Smith, Chair Discussion regarding email sent out to Board Desire to create a Culture Statement and a Tagline to help create a more clear identity of who we are at MVM. Jess, Courtney and Elizabeth will brainstorm and generate ideas before next meeting More Board support for the Director and more Board facetime at school events. Regularly putting out celebrations, highlighting positive outcomes, etc - maybe a monthly newsletter? Follow up next month with progress and more ideas Let's make a recommendation to Brian about clarifying or implementing policy about appropriate use of public recordings and lack of propriety of secret recordings. School LAND Trust Committee - Brian Clyne, Chair Motion: Approve School Land Trust Plan Elizabeth Chesley motions to approve the 2025-2026 School Land Trust Plan as presented by Brian Clyne. Ayes: Jamee Adams, RaLynne Parry, Elizabeth Chesley, Marisa Granado, Chris Christensen, Courtney Carters, Jess Smith, Shelby Bridges Nays: None Abstains: None The motion is passed Director Evaluation Committee - Courtney Carter Courtney Carter reads prepared statement 'We conducted Brian's director evaluation, we met as a committee. We compiled recommendations, we shared that with Brian and we have set up processes to follow up with him periodically throughout the year to see how progress is being made towards the goals. We have a couple documents to help us keep organized. Discussion / Action Items Chair Adams MVM Wellness Policy Mountain View Montessori (MVM) Wellness Policy 2025 Motion RaLynne Parry motions to approve the 2025-2026 Wellness Plan as submitted by Julie Munford Shelby Bridges seconds.
