The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining meets Wednesday, March 26 at 9 a.m. at the Department of Natural Resources building at 1594 West North Temple in Salt Lake City. Division of Oil, Gas and Mining staff will conduct a briefing session at 9 a.m.: 1. Swearing in newly appointed board members 2. Presentation by FourPoint Resources, LLC 3. Legislative update 4. Rule discussion 5. Other 6. Next month's agenda and division calendar 7. Opportunity for public comments Board members will hear the following matters after the briefing session: 1. Docket No. 2025-023 Cause No. 132-77 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Alice 13-7 4-3-18-19-7H Well, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 18 and 19, Township 4 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the March 19, 2025 proceeding.) 2. Docket No. 2025-024 Cause No. 132-78 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Phillip 13-7 4-4-13-24-1H Well, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 13 and 24, Township 4 South, Range 4 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the March 19, 2025 proceeding.) 3. Docket No. 2025-013 Cause No. 199-09 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of Mark Tokarski for an order requiring an accounting and payment of proceeds from ARB Energy Utah LLC. 4. Docket No. 2025-018 Cause No. 600-07 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of UINTA WAX OPERATING, LLC, for an order modifying the Board's orders entered in Cause Nos. 139-134 and 600-01 to: (1) Reduce the perpendicular setbacks to 330 ft. for horizontal wells; and (2) Increase the number of authorized long lateral horizontal wells from 17 to up to 36 in the drilling units established for such wells thereunder and inclusive of Sections 13-16, 21-27 and 34-36, Township 3 South, Range 1 West, U.S.M., Duchesne and Uintah counties, Utah. 5. Docket No. 2025-019 Cause No. 132-75 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of FOURPOINT RESOURCES, LLC for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Armstrong 13-7 4-3-18-16-7HX Well identified herein, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of sections 16-18 Township 4 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Petitioner has requested that this matter be withdrawn without prejudice.) 6. Docket No. 2025-021 Cause No. 470-16 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of VAQUERO UINTA, LLC for an order amending the Board's orders in Cause Nos. 270-02, 270-04, and 470-02 to establish (1) Four overlapping 640-acre DSUs, (2) One special 960-acre DSU, and (3) Three overlapping 1,280-acre DUBWDSUs for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Eocene Middle, Lower Green River and Wasatch Formations underlying the Three Rivers Area, comprised of Sections 34-36 in Township 7 South, Range 20 East, S.L.M. and Sections 2, 3 and 10 (N1/2) in Township 8 South, Range 20 East S.L.M., all in Uintah County, Utah. 7. Docket No. 2025-022 Cause No. 470-17 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of ROBERT L. BAYLESS, PRODUCER LLC for an order: (1) Authorizing the drilling and production of the proposed Harding State 11-32D-6-20 Well; (2) Establishing a special drilling unit for the commingled production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Green River and Wasatch Formations comprised of the S1/2N1/2SE1/4NW1/4, S1/2SE1/4NW1/4 and N1/2N1/2NE1/4SW1/4 of Section 32, Township 6 South, Range 20 East, S.L.M., Uintah County, Utah; and (3) Compulsory pooling the interest of Lyle R. Harding in said special drilling unit and declaring him as a nonconsenting owner in said well. (This matter has been continued to the April 23, 2025, Board Hearing.) 8. Docket No. 2025-025 Cause No. 134-02 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of WEM OPERATING, LLC for an order authorizing the flaring of gas in excess of the amounts allowed under Utah Administrative Code Rule R649-3-20 from the: (I) Blackbuck 4-4-30-26-1H Well, with a surface location in the SW/4NW/4, Section 32, T4S, R4W, U.S.M; (II) Bongo 4-4-31-35-7H Well, with a surface location in the SW/4NW/4, Section 32, T4S, R4W, U.S.M.; (III) Collins 4-3-19-21-1H Well, with a surface location in the NE/4NE/4, Section 25, T4S, R4W, U.S.M.; (IV) Gemsbok Well, with a surface location in the SW/4NW/4, Section 32, T4S, R4W, U.S.M.; (V) Lee 4-4-24-23-1H Well, with a surface location in the NE/4NE/4, Section 25, T4S, R4W, U.S.M.; and (VI) Nilgai 4-4-29-28-1H Well, with a surface location in the SW/4NW/4, Section 32, T4S, R4W, U.S.M., all in Duchesne County, Utah.
