- Hanksville 2025 Municipal Election OPEN SEATS Mayor Seat - 4 year term Two (2) Town Council Seats - 4-year term Declaration of Candidacy Submission Deadline JUNE 2-5, 2025 Those interested in being a candidate please reach out to the Hanksville Clerk - Lisa Wells 435-542-3451 clerk@hanksvilleutah.gov Declaration of candidacy must be made in person by the candidate. The clerks office is open Tuesday - Thursday 10:00am-2:00pm during the time frame June 2-9, 2025. Candidates must be a US citizen, at least 18 years old, a registered voter, and a resident of Hanksville Town for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election and not have been convicted of a felony. See Utah Code 20A-9-203 for more details. Candidates will be required to timely file certain financial disclosures related to their campaign.
