Washington City Solente Water Transmission Line Re-Route
General Notice
Washington City is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Washington City Solente Water Transmission Line Re-Route; 4673-24
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Public Works office located at [1305 E Washington Dam Rd, Washington UT 84780 where Bids will be received], until [April 15, 2025] at [2:00 PM for receipt of Bids] local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
The City of Washington is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the re-routing and installation of new water transmission lines around the Solente development. The project involves replacing five main transmission lines with 3 new upsized lines, including a 20' & 24' line along Washington Parkway, extending 2,310 feet east from Main Street, then crossing Washington Parkway and heading 1,750 feet north with a 24' & 16' water line to the existing water tank. Additionally, the project includes rerouting the well line along Colima Road for 1,835 feet to the water tank site. In total, approximately 7,585 feet of various-sized water transmission lines will be installed. The existing transmission lines must remain in use until the new system is fully operational. Interested bidders must demonstrate experience in large diameter waterline installation and coordination with active utilities. Sealed bids must be submitted by the specified deadline as outlined in the bid documents.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated link. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on [April 8th,2025] at [2:00 pm] at [Washington City Public Works office at 1305 E Washington Dam Road, Washington, UT 84780]. Attendance at the pre bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Contract Times
The Work will be substantially complete within [117] calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence for Phase 1 (Starting May 27th to September 21st ) and [28] Calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence for Phase 2 (Starting September 21th to October 19th) to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within [30] days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
