- Bluff Water Works Special Service District Meeting Minutes for Jan 8, 2025 Called meeting to order: 7:01 In attendance: Marx Powell, Brandt Hart, Steve Simpson, Amer Tumeh, , Mike Yearous Jennifer Davila Absent: Benny Musselman Audience: Ann Leppenen, Linda Sosa Approval of minutes: Simpson motions to accept minutes with edits Hart seconds the motion Motion passes unanimously Community Input: None Culinary Water: Powell: We are still getting new nodes in and still working on the radio read meters. There are still a few issues with the billing system which is causing a bit of a delay but hopefully this will work out soon. The lead and copper tests came back and we have the water bottles for the nitrates samples to go in. We were able to get a hold of the people who couldn't be contacted and their tests came back fine as well. Unfinished Business: Vote on the 2025 Rate Increase Simpson motions to adopt the 40% rate increase discussed in the public hearing in 2024 Yearus seconds the motion Passes unanimously Water Meter Applications: Nothing to report Meter Report: Nothing new to report Update on QED on a strategic plan for BWW The next meeting will be held on Jan 30 Bills to Pay: See Treasures Report Simpson motions to pay the bills Tumeh: seconds the motion. Motion passes unanimously Other: None Next meeting: Feb 12th, 2025 Meeting adjourned: 7:08
