INVITATION TO BID Tooele City 90 North Main Tooele City, Utah 84074 Notice is hereby given that Tooele City Corporation (OWNER) will accept bids for construction of the Public Works Shops Building Foundation Wall Repair, according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by J-U-B Engineers, and described in general as: Work of this Construction Contract comprises the excavation and repair of the exterior perimeter foundation wall of a 50' x 90' CMU building by installing a new 4' thick reinforced concrete wall with a total approximate height of six feet from the top of footings, grouting of the existing CMU wall within the rebar anchor blocks or damaged block, the installation of approximately 675 square feet of reinforced concrete apron, bollards, and related appurtenances. Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in Room 227, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 until 11:00 AM on Thursday March 20, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic Bid submittals will not be accepted. Project Bid Documents will be issued in digital format (PDF), and may be obtained by contacting Tooele City Public Works Department, Room 108, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 beginning on Tuesday March 4, 2025 during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling (435) 843-2130, or by email addressed to laurab@tooelecity.gov. All Bidders must receive the bid package directly from the City in order to be considered for Award of Bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Prospective BIDDERS are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference which will be held at the Public Works Shops Building located at 1015 South Coleman Street, Tooele, Utah at 11:00 AM on Thursday March 12, 2025. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site conditions, specifications, and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the project.
