Minutes from the Woodruff Town Board meeting held January 21, 2025 at the Town Hall at 5:00 p.m.

Mayor Sabey welcomed everyone to town board meeting. BRAG sent a Mitigation Plan to the town that needs to be filled out by the end of January. The town board discussed what hazards could be potentially damaging to the town of Woodruff. The spreadsheet included information about how to protect citizens, the priority level, potential funding sources and estimated cost for each hazard. Allie Deru is going to complete the spreadsheet. The categories that the board decided on are dam failure, earthquake, flood, hazmat, problem soil/rocks, severe weather and wildfire. There will be continued discussion about this Mitigation Plan with the help of BRAG. Seiko Webb is going to ask the fire department about what they have in place for a Hazmat emergency.
The website has been updated with the new water and building application.
Monika Schulthess made a motion to approve December minutes. Seiko Webb seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Monika Schulthess made a motion to approve the January bills. Joel Marler seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Stacey's Repair had written a check for a Christmas donation but the town did not receive it until after Christmas. Mayor Sabey is going to talk to Brent Stacey to see what they would like us to do with it.
Mayor Sabey made a motion to enter a closed session. Monika Schulthess approved the motion. Joel Marler seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. The town board entered a closed session to discuss legal issues.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
