Description/Agenda
In accordance with Utah law, the Wasatch County School District Board of Education will convene for an open Board Meeting on February 25, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. No Study Session will be held. The meeting will take place in the Wasatch Education Center Board Chambers, located at 101 E 200 N, Heber City, UT.
During the meeting, interviews will be conducted to fill the vacant Board of Education Seat D. The appointment for the vacant seat may be made that evening or at a later date.
This meeting is open to the public and will be broadcast live at Wasatch-YouTube.com. Public participation is encouraged. During the community comment section of the board meeting comments and questions will be accepted in-person, via email or online attendance via Zoom.

An Executive Session may follow the board meeting to discuss the character, competence, or health of an individual, collective bargaining, pending or reasonably imminent litigation, property transactions, security matters, and investigative proceedings. Section § 52-4 of the Open Meetings Act identifies the topics that may be discussed in a closed meeting.

1. Under Utah Code § 52-4, public bodies must conduct meetings openly, but certain topics can be discussed in a closed session under specific legal exceptions. The topics that may be discussed in a closed meeting include: Character, Competence, or Health of an Individual, Collective Bargaining, Pending or Reasonably Imminent Litigation, Property Transactions, Security Matters, and Investigative Proceedings.
