NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Salt Lake Community College Board of Trustees will conduct a Public Hearing to discuss proposed tuition and general student fee increases and course fees for the coming academic year. The College anticipates a tuition increase in the range of 0-5.5% for students pursuing an associate degree or for transfer to another degree-granting institution. The amount of the increase depends on the budgetary outlook and funding from the state legislature. There will be no increase in tuition for the Salt Lake Technical College programs. A portion of tuition may be used to cover the cost of state-mandated insurance and a portion of the approved compensation and health insurance increases allocated by the legislature.
The Public Hearing is scheduled to take place during the Board of Trustees meeting that begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake Community College Taylorsville/Redwood Campus, 4600 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah in Room AAB 428 on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
There will also be a public meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in Student Center Oak Room on the Taylorsville/Redwood Campus where the Student Fee Advisory Board will present on the general student fee increase proposal.
All concerned students and citizens are invited to attend.
