- Notice is hereby given that there is one (1) open seat on the Kane County Planning Commission. This is a 3 year term to beginning immediately and end December 31, 2027. Candidates must be a property owner in Kane County. The commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Its responsibilities include discussing, approving and/or recommending Zone Changes and changes to the Land Use Ordinance or General Plan, reviewing and approving Conditional Use Permits, and other land use matters. Anyone interested in serving on the commission may submit a letter of interest and a brief resume to Shannon McBride, Kane County Land Use Administrator, at the Kane County Courthouse, 76 North Main Street, Kanab, Utah 84741. Email submissions can be sent to smcbride@kane.utah.gov. Submissions must be received by Monday, March 10, 2025.
