NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Welcome and Remarks – Mayor Nay 2) Remarks – New City Council Members 3) Administration of Oath of Office to New City Council Members 4) BREAK 5) Discuss and Arrange for Youth City Council Day at the Legislature Wednesday, January 25, 2012 6) Proposed Approval of Ordinance 2012-1 City Council Meeting Schedule 7) Assignment of Council Duties 8) Develop Rules of Procedure and Order for City Council Meeting 9) Identify Policies to be Discussed, Open Meeting, Purchasing Policy 10) Council Training: Discuss Details and Recommendations for Content for Council Training Seminar January 20-21, 2012, and Newly Elected Officials’ Training Saturday,February 4, 2012, Ephraim City Hall, ULCT 11) Discuss other Concerns, Determine Displays needed Regarding Main Street Project 12) Review, Discuss and Make Recommendations to the Capital Improvement List for Six County Review 13) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Work Meeting Tuesday, November 29, 2011, Open Session and City Council Meeting Tuesday, December 13, 2011 Open Session 14) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 15) Proposed Approval Bills and Adjustment 16) Closed Session 17) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
