AGENDA
The Virgin Development Review Committee, known as the DRC (which is similar to the Joint Utility Committee - JUC in other communities), was developed to streamline the review process of various types of land use and development applications being considered or proposed within the Town.
No Public Comment will be accepted.
1. Welcome and Introductions:
a. Brief introduction of attendees and their roles.
b. Review the meeting agenda and objectives.
2. Review of Projects/Applications:
a. Virgin Apartments Proposal
1. Presentation of the proposal and updates.
2. Discussion of any changes or progress since the last review.
3. Feedback from each department (Zoning Administrator, Town Engineer, etc.).
4. Discussion on application, process, zoning and code compliance, environmental impacts, infrastructure, and neighborhood impacts.
b. Zion's Landing Proposal
1. Presentation of the proposal and updates.
2. Discussion of any changes or progress since the last review.
3. Feedback from each department (Zoning Administrator, Town Engineer, etc.).
4. Discussion on application, process, zoning and code compliance, environmental impacts, infrastructure, and neighborhood impacts.
c. Quail Mesa Proposal
1. Presentation of the proposal and updates.
2. Discussion of any changes or progress since the last review.
3. Feedback from each department (Zoning Administrator, Town Engineer, etc.).
4. Discussion on application, process, zoning and code compliance, environmental impacts, infrastructure, and neighborhood impacts.
3. Departmental Reports and Updates:
a. Zoning Administrator: Status of permits, zoning issues, or code enforcement updates.
b. Town Engineer: Infrastructure considerations, roads, utilities, or engineering-related concerns.
c. Hurricane Fire Department: Fire safety requirements or updates on emergency response planning.
d. Ash Creek: Status of waste management, capacity, and environmental concerns.
e. UDOT: Updates on transportation planning or impact assessments.
f. Rocky Mountain Power: Energy requirements or updates on electrical infrastructure.
g. Public Works: Updates on public services, infrastructure, and road maintenance.
h. Washington County Water Conservancy District: Updates on water management and sustainability concerns.
4. Open Discussion and Feedback:
a. Open the floor for additional comments, questions, or concerns from all departments.
b. Clarifications on any outstanding issues or requests for additional information.
5. Next Steps:
a. Review items and responsibilities for each department.
b. Confirm timeline for follow-up
