Welcome by James Gubler, Preservation Commission Chair. 1. Prayer - 2. Pledge of Allegiance - 2. Review and Approval of the April 23, 2024, Commission meeting minutes 3. Roll Call of Commission members 1. Ken Cox - 2. Lance Gifford - 3. Demar Gubler - 4. James Gubler (Chairperson) - 5. Eldon Pierce (Vice Chairperson) - 4. Roll Call of Alternate Commission members 1. Cori Gubler (Secretary) - 2. Claudia Pierce - 5. Roll Call of meeting visitors 1. 2. 3. 4. 6. Review and approve any new updates of suggested historical sites 1. Added: Home of Doug and Gloria Halterman - moved to La Verkin from Silver Reef, UT 2. Others open for discussion? 7. Discuss any new ideas/methods to prioritize listed projects and old actions from the last meeting, i.e. a. Plaques and website to include link for information b. Message/letter on water bill for individuals to write up their home history c. Send letter to historical sites on our list to collect historical information d. Facebook posts to collect historical information e. Do additional research on plaques f. James Gubler will write up a cover letter of our committee mission and purpose. g.
