FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT
Based on this review Marriott-Slaterville City has determined that a request for release of project funds will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment and hence an environmental impact statement will not be undertaken under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (PL91-910).
The reasons for the decision not to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement are as follows: based upon the Environmental Assessment completed in accordance with NEPA and applicable regulations, a finding of no significant impact is appropriate. Also, because a the Project is located outside the FEMA delineated flood plain along the Weber River. Marriott-Slaterville City will conform not be staging any of the Project in flood plain areas and will conform to any restrictions and/or limitations by not disrupting any flood plain delineation area of FEMA.
