Notice of Wasatch County School District Board of Education Vacancy and Candidate Interviews.
Wasatch County School District Board of Education Member Tyler Bluth has resigned his position on the Board of Education representing the Wasatch County School District Seat D.
The Board of Education will hold an open meeting on February 25, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. to interview candidates for the interim District Boundary Seat D vacancy. The selected candidate will serve for the remainder of the term, ending January 5, 2027.
Interested candidates must submit a letter of intent to the Board of Education at 101 East 200 North, Heber City, UT 84032, no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 18, 2025. All qualified applicants will be interviewed during an open meeting at 4:00 p.m. on February 25, 2025. The appointment for the vacant seat may be made during the regularly scheduled board meeting at 6:30 p.m. or at a later date.
Candidate Qualifications
To be eligible for appointment, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Be a registered voter, for at least one year, in the local school board district from which they are seeking appointment (see district map link below).
2. Maintain their primary residence within the district throughout their term.
3. Not be employed by the Wasatch County School Board during their term of office.
