- ELECTION NOTICE NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 4, 2025 Notice is hereby given to inform Garland City Residents that there will be a municipal election this year to elect two council members and a mayor, each to serve a 4-year term starting January 2026 to January 2030. Interested persons may file for office between June 1, 2025, and June 7, 2025, between 8:30 am and 5 pm on normal business days in person with a Declaration of Candidacy Form or Nominating Petition at 72 North Main Street, Garland UT 84312. There is no filing fee. Candidates must meet the following qualifications: 1. Be a United States Citizen. 2. Be a registered voter of the municipality. 3. Be at least 18 years old at the time of the election. 4. Be a legal resident of the municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. 5. Any other constitutional and statutory qualifications outlined in UCA 20A-9-203 and any other changes/additions as outlined in the Utah State Legislature Bills passed. If more than two candidates file for each position, a primary will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
