Notice of Municipal Election
In accordance with Utah Code §10-3-301(2), Marriott-Slaterville City will have the Mayor and two (2) City Council positions open for election this year. The general election will be held on November 4, 2025. One (1) City Council seat is open in each of the two (2) Election Districts. Those interested in running for any elected position must file a Declaration of Candidacy with the City Recorder at the Municipal Building located at: 1570 West 400 North, during office hours between June 2, 2025 to June 9, 2025. A Nomination Petition may also be filed during the same time period. A $50 filing fee is required. Any person filing a Declaration of Candidacy for any elected position shall meet the requirements of Utah Code Annotated §10-3-301 and §20A-9-203. Candidates must be a registered voter in Marriott-Slaterville City, and also file the required campaign financial disclosures under state law. NOTICE CANCELING THE MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY 2015 ELECTION
In accordance with UCA 20A-1-206, the Marriott-Slaterville City Council adopted a Resolution on September 17, 2015, cancelling the 2015 Marriott-Slaterville City Municipal Election based upon the number of candidates not exceeding the number of municipal offices elected, and no write-in candidates filed by the September 4, 2015, deadline.
