HOLDEN TOWN NOTICE OF ELECTION
NOTICE is hereby given that Holden Town will hold a municipal election(s) in 2025 to elect a mayor and two (2) council members to the Governing Body. Each municipal office shall be a four-year term beginning on the first Monday of January 2026. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election will be held on August 12, 2025, with the Municipal General Election being held on November 4, 2025. This election will all be a mail only election.
United States citizens who have resided at least twelve consecutive months within the legal boundaries of Holden Town proper, that are registered voters within the same may file a Declaration of Candidacy statement, or a Nomination Petition may be filed on behalf of a qualified person. The filing for elective office is to be made before the Holden Town Treasurer during the regular business hours of 8: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. between June 2 and June 6, 2025 (Deadline is 5 p. m. on June 6, 2025).
