Grant Status: Needs Review Motion: Melissa Dimond motioned to move this to governance: Motion was for DHHS to work with Jill/UALHO to work through a high-level budget to finalize the actual application based on conversation held at prep exec around UALHO contracting with outside partner to work on the project.
The Preparedness and Epidemiology and Informatics Executive groups approved the project ideas but did not have visibility on the specific budget line items. However, we did stay within the funding categories and amounts that we discussed with these groups and Dean, and we have sent out the updated budget forms to the respective exec groups for their awareness and feedback. The CDC is activating CDC-RFA-TP22-2201 Public Health Crisis Response Cooperative Agreement to support public health response to influenza A/H5N1, a virus with pandemic potential and other potential respiratory disease outbreaks. Funds can be used for personnel, supplies, shipping, contracts to support allowable activities or any costs associated with a jurisdiction's highest priority novel influenza A response needs or other respiratory threats.
