INVITATION TO BID:
Historic Scott School - Site Access & Accessibility Project
The City of South Salt Lake will accept bids for the project titled: Historic Scott School - Site Access & Accessibility, until 3:00 PM on February 14th, 2025. All required documents for the bidding process shall be submitted to Ariel Andrus, City Recorder, aandrus@sslc.gov. Submittals may be printed and delivered to 220 E Morris Ave, Suite 200. The Bidder is responsible for ensuring receipt of bid package before deadline, late submittals will not be accepted. No digital submissions via email or U3P will be accepted. A 5% Bid Security will be required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or technicality, and to make reductions in or expand the scope of work in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Contractor to submit overall contract duration (days) as part of their bid.
The scope of work includes the equipment, materials, services, and appurtenances thereto as included in the contract documents for the demolition and construction of parking lot, sidewalks, grading, underground drainage and lighting improvements at Historic Scott School which is located at 3280 S. 540 E., South Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
Plans and specifications for the project can be obtained from Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) @ purchasing.utah.gov or the Project Manager, Brent Dyer after 10:00 AM on January 13th, 2025. All bidder questions and clarifications, as well as OWNER answers and addenda will only be communicated via U3P.
There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting for this project on site at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. Attendance is strongly encouraged and access to the proposed project area is available upon request. For further information or questions, contact the Project Manager, Brent Dyer at bdyer@sslc.gov
