Old Business:
Bike path application still needs to be approved before we can move forward on it. Ski resort application is either really really close or has been turned in to the Forest Service for review. We are within a week of it being turned in.
Another grant will be written for the last of projects at the gun range. It will be written but not administered by Gary Boyd. They need at least $150K to finish everything else. Funded by outdoor rec. Hunters Safety is being considered for the new range as well.
The new health clinic Geotech has been completed. Water table is found, hoping to have a contractor picked by the end of 2024. The projected date for completion is the end of July, but the end of fall is more realistic.
RFP for welcome signs has no updates. We will be reaching out to Utah State Purchasing for help.
We are short $280K for the new rodeo grandstands that we want. Outdoor Rec will give us a grant if we can bring in more activities for children. Rodeo related will most likely get approved, but there are other things that should be going on every single weekend. 'Ladies on the fly' group might be something that could be an event. Charlie Jenkins can come back next year, but there will have to be a small fee.
New Business:
Finalization of local grant-
The application should have a minimum and maximum amount on it. Amounts are going to be $5,000 and $55,000.
If new business owners apply, they might need some guidance and help as to what to do with money once it is awarded.
Maretta wants to have a more structured plan for the amounts of grants awarded. Four $10,000 grants and three $5,000 with a 10% variance.
