NOTICE OF VACANCY AND NOTICE OF BOARD MEETING
STOCKTON TOWN COUNCIL
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a midterm vacancy on the Stockton Town Council. The person appointed will serve through the term ending on the first Monday of January 2028. Any person interested in serving as a member of the Stockton Town Council, who meets the eligibility and residence requirements for the position is invited to submit a written application of interest to the Stockton Town Council.
ELIGIBILITY AND RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS. A candidate must be a registered voter, and must have resided within the Town of Stockton for the 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of appointment*
APPLICATION DEADLINE AND LOCATION. Written applications must be received at the Town offices no later than 4:00pm on Tuesday February 11th, 2025. Applications shall be submitted to Diana Degelbeck, Stockton Town Clerk, at the Stockton Town offices, 18 North Johnson Street, P.O. Box 240, Stockton UT 84071.
SPECIAL MEETING FOR INTERVIEWS. The Town council will hold a board meeting to conduct interviews of all qualified applicants at a board meeting of the Town Council on
_February 13th ,2025______7:00PM___________ at the Stockton Town Offices, 18 North Johnson Street, Stockton, UT 84071. The board meeting will be held in the Town Council Chambers. The interviews will be conducted in an open meeting, and the public is invited to attend.
MEETING FOR APPOINTMENT. The Town Council will make the appointment at the Board Meeting, immediately following the interviews.
