Description/Agenda
The City of West Jordan (City) hereby proposes Substantial Amendment #1 to the City's Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 (or Program Year [PY] 2025) Action Plan & Budget to reallocate $100,134.93 in PY 2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and $230,364.86 in 2023 & 2024 CDBG Revolving Loan Funds to eligible public infrastructure activities. As required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City will initiate a 30-day public comment period on November 23, 2025 and will accept comments through December 27, 2025. Any individual, group, or agency wishing to comment on proposed Substantial Amendment #1 may submit written comments to the City of West Jordan, Attention: Megan Jensen, CDBG Coordinator at 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84088 or by email to Megan.Jensen@westjordan.utah.gov . Written comments should specify which notice they are addressing. All comments received by December 27, 2025 will be reviewed and considered by the City of West Jordan. City Council consideration for the adoption of Substantial Amendment #1 will take place on January 13, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers located at 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84088. Residents wishing to speak at the public hearing may individually sign the appropriate sign-in sheet for that purpose which will be provided at the entrance of the meeting room prior to 7:00 P.M. the day of the hearing. Each Resident will have three (3) minutes to speak. Groups consisting of three or more citizens will be allotted five (5) minutes total. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of West Jordan will make reasonable accommodations for participation in the meeting. Request for assistance can be made by contacting the Community Development Block Grant Office at 801-569-5182, providing at least three working days advance notice of the meeting. TTY 711.
