- Please take notice that the Garfield County Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the following: SUBJECT: County Road Name Change DATE: Monday, January 27, 2025 TIME: 1:30 PM LOCATION: Garfield County Fair Building, 740 North Main Street, Panguitch, UT 84759 There are two possible County roads being considered for a name change: - Option 1: The current County road connecting Boulder, Utah to Utah State Highway 276, formally known as the 'Burr Trail Scenic Backway' is proposed to be changed to the 'Donald J. Trump Presidential Burr Trail Backway'. - Option 2: The current County road, connecting Antimony, Utah to Scenic Byway 12, formally known as 'John's Valley Road' is proposed to be changed to the 'Donald J. Trump Presidential Highway'. The public hearing will be held during the regularly scheduled County Commission Meeting on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1:30 PM in the Garfield County Fair Building, 740 North Main, Panguitch, UT 84759.
