An unexpected vacancy has created the need for the board of education to appoint a representative for voting district 6 to serve from February 2025 through December 2026. Applicants must be a full time resident within voting district 6 of the Ogden School District Board of Education voting district map. Click to view the voting district map.
Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
Applicants approved for consideration will be notified to attend a special session of the Ogden School District Board of Education on Thursday, January 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the district board room at 1950 Monroe Blvd. Building #1.
During the special session applicants will be interviewed by the board of education.
Board of Education members are eligible for compensation and benefits including:
Board members receive $7,200 per year ($600 per month) as compensation
for services.
Board leadership (president and vice president) receives an additional $100
per month compensation for services.
Board members on committee assignment with the District or USBA may
receive an additional $50 per meeting attended.
Health insurance coverage options are available.
Board members receive $50,000 term life insurance.
