Mayor Sabey welcome everyone to town board meeting. Monika Schulthess made a motion to approve November minutes. Joel Marler seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Allie Deru asked the town board if they would like to include a Town of Woodruff ad in the Uinta County Herald Season's Greetings section. The board agreed to do the ad. Monika Schulthess made a motion to approve the bills of approval. Raymond Frandsen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
The town board discussed about getting new Christmas decorations for the poles along the highway. They want to install something with solar lights but are not sure how to go about it. It would be nice to have some that light up but Rocky Mountain Power does not allow power to go on their poles so solar would be the only option at this point. The board thinks there may be a grant available for something like this. This will be looked more into at a future date. The board thinks it would look good to put more flags up on the poles that go around the arena. Raymond Frandsen said he would stop by the office in Bear River and ask them about the solar they used on their town signs.
Christmas donations were discussed. There were some donations at the time of board meeting but waiting to see if we get more. The money is going to a family in Woodruff to help them with Christmas. The signs have been hung up in the store, post office and Stacey's Repair with the QR code to donate via Venmo.
There has been no news from our lawyer about the water line dispute with Herrera's. The water line was covered and insulated by Chris Schulthess to keep it from freezing.
Allie Deru is going to double check with Jones and DeMille Engineering to make sure they are going to organize the bidding of the road job for the town.
In October, there was a charge for a Sam's Club renewal. Monika Schulthess figured out that it was hers that was accidentally charged to the town card. She will reimburse the town for that.
Allie Deru is going to send out the new water ordinance with the water bills next month. It shows the rates and fees. There will be notices sent out to people that are overdue on their bill. The board also wants to send out the new building ordinance. That will be sent out in February with water bills so that everyone is aware of changes that have been made to our ordinances.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
