NOTICE OF VACANCY
The Cache County Fire District is seeking persons willing to be considered for appointment as a board member on the Cache County Fire District Board of Trustees. There are currently 4 vacancies. Applicants must be currently elected Mayors of towns or cities located within the boundaries of the fire district, which includes all areas of Cache County with the exception of Logan City. Two appointments shall be selected from cities or towns located north of Hwy 30 and 2 appointments shall be selected from cities or towns located south of Hwy 30. All applicants must reside within the Fire District.
A public hearing will be held at the Cache County Historic Courthouse (199 North Main Street, Logan, UT) on February 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Applicants should plan to attend and address the Fire District Board of Trustees expressing their interest in serving on this board. Interested persons may also attend to be heard. The Fire District Board of Trustees will adopt a resolution to appoint four applicants. The appointments become effective immediately upon ratification of the resolution. Appointees will serve either 2 or 4 years depending on the election cycle for their office.
