- The Municipal Council of the City of Logan, Utah will hold a public hearing to consider the following adjustments to the FY 2024-2025 budget appropriating: $11,961 a grant the Police Department was awarded from the State of Utah. The Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds will be used to purchase police equipment; $2,892,660 additional funds the Environmental Department received from the Environmental Protection Agency to purchase equipment associated with the green waste facility; $48,417 reserve EMS funds toward the purchase of a new power cot and lift system from reimbursement proceeds received in the prior year; $117,590 funds the Electric Department received to purchase electric vehicle charging equipment; $108,893 funds Dispatch received to support 911 operations; $12,900 golf course reserves toward net installation and replacement at the golf course. Said public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, not before 5:30 p.m. in the Logan Municipal Council Chamber, 290 North 100 West, Logan, Utah.
