- NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Garland City Council will hold a regular City Council meeting on the 22nd day of December 2011 at the Garland City Civic Center. Such meeting shall begin promptly at 8:00 p.m. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs. The agenda shall be as follows: 1. New Business a. Merlene Ewell- variance for bay window addition b. House numbering c. Approval of Fire Department Officers 8. Introduction of Ordinance, Resolutions, Standards and Proclamations a. Ordinance, O-11-08, Amending City Council Meeting Dates b. Ordinance, O-11-09, Amending Planning and Zoning Meeting Dates c. Amend 8-04 in employee handbook- water rate for employees and city council. 9. Report of Officers, Boards & Committees a. Mayor Bennett i. Fire Chief Kent Menlove ii. Police Chief Linda Bourne b. Council Member Christensen – Park/Mosquito Abatement c. Council Member Comstock – Planning & Zoning/ Youth Council i. Planning and Zoning Commission – Jeff Jensen ii. Youth Council Mayor/Advisor d.
