NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Altamont Town Council will hold a Public Hearing and consider action during their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 9th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the admin building 15588 W 4000 N Altamont. The hearing is to receive public comment concerning proposal to vacate a section of road. Property Description All or a portion of any roads, streets, easements and right-of-way associated with the road 4200 North (200 N) near the intersection of 15675 W (100 W) going west to the end of the road. All interested persons are invited to attend. Persons having questions or comments concerning this item may contact the Town Clerk at (435) 454-3469 Legal Description OF REQUESTED STREET VACATION SECTION25, Township 1 South, Rannge 4 west UINTAH SPECIAL BASE & MERIDIAN DUCHESNE, UTAH All of those portions of 200 North Street described as follows; Commencing at the Southwest Corner of Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 4 West of the Uintah Special Bose and Meridian; Thence North 89'16'48' East 1736.07 feet along the South line of the SW 1/4 of said Section 25 to the extension of the East line of Blocks 3 and 9 of the Altamont Townsite Plot A; Thence North 00'43'12' West 860.00 feet along said East line of said Blocks and extension thereof to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING and the Northeast Corner of said Block 9, Thence South 89'16'48' West 400.00 feet along the North line of said Block 9 to Northwest Comer of said Block 9; Thence North 00'43'12' West 60.00 feet to the Southwest Corner of Block 3, of said Altamont Townsite Plot A; Thence North 89'16'48' East 400.00 feet along the South line of said Block 3 to the Southeast Comer of said Block 3; Thence South 00'43'12' East 60.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 0.551 acres.
