- The positions that are vacant that shall be filled by appointment: 1. TUID Board of Trustees SEAT A 2. TUID Board of Trustees SEAT C The qualifications required to be appointed to the positions: Interested persons shall meet the Local District Board Member Qualifications as outlined in Utah Code 17B-1-302, including 1) being a registered voter at the location of the member's residence and 2) an owner of land, or an agent or officer of the owner of land, that receives service from the district and is located within the local district. The procedures for appointment that the Board of Garfield County Commissioners shall follow in making the appointments: The Board of Garfield County Commissioners may, by resolution, appoint persons to serve as members of a the TUID Board of Trustees by following the procedures established by Utah Code 17B-1-304. The person to be contacted and any deadlines that a person shall meet who wishes to be considered for appointment to those positions: Interested persons must submit a letter expressing interest in the board position and their qualifications for the position via email to camille.moore@garfield.utah.gov by: 12:00 AM (MST) SATURDAY, JANUARY 11, 2025 The new board members will be appointed during the Garfield County Commission meeting scheduled for Monday January 13, 2025 in the Commission Chambers, Garfield County Courthouse, 55 South Main, Panguitch, UT 84759.
