PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Ogden Valley incorporation sponsors will hold a public hearing at Eden's Hearthside Event Center, 5612 E. 2200 N., Eden, Utah, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

The agenda for the meeting consists of the following:

3. Presentation of District Maps and Terms of Office

This public hearing is being held pursuant to Utah Historical Code Section 10-2a-213 (1), which requires incorporation sponsors to:
(1) 'Determine the number of council members to be elected by districts and draw the boundaries of those districts, which shall be substantially equal in population;' and
(2) 'Determine the initial terms of the mayor and members of the municipal council .'
This hearing is required before incorporation sponsors submit their determinations on these two questions to Weber County.

Note: Prior to the hearing, there will be an open house at the Hearthside from 4:30 to 5:50 p.m. Visitors will have an opportunity to view maps of the proposed district boundaries and ask questions about them. This is not part of the public hearing but is in lieu of the December 17 open house that was cancelled due to the Huntsville water emergency.
