PUBLIC NOTICE OF VACANCY - TOWN COUNCIL MEMBER
The Town of Apple Valley announces a vacancy on the Town Council due to the resignation of Council Member Janet Prentice. The term for this position will expire on January 5, 2026.
Interested individuals must submit a resume, completed application, and letter of intent by mail to the Town Office at 1777 N. Meadowlark Dr., Apple Valley, Utah 84737, or via email to Jenna Vizcardo at clerk@applevalleyut.gov. Please note that on December 23, 2024, applications can only be submitted via email as the Town Office will be closed for the holidays. Applications are available at the Town Office and on the Town website.
The Town Council will interview and appoint a new member during a regular Town Council meeting on January 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, located at 1777 N. Meadowlark Dr., Apple Valley, UT. The deadline to submit applications is 3:00 p.m. on December 23, 2024.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a registered voter in the Town of Apple Valley.
- Have been a resident of the Town of Apple Valley for at least 12 consecutive months.
- Attend the meeting on January 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., either in person or electronically.
