JOSEPH TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING October 29, 2024 PRESENT Commission members: Sue Gestring, Vic Middleton, Doug Nowell, Ed Payette, and Peggy Smith EXCUSED GUESTS: Sheyenne Tenney, Hansen Planning representative. The meeting was held at the Joseph Community Center and called to order by Ed Payette at 7:00 p.m APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion: Motion by Vic to accept the minutes of the meeting of September 24, 2024. Motion seconded by Sue. Passing vote by Sue, Vic, and Ed. Against vote - none. AGENDA ITEMS Sheyenne Tenney - Hansen Planning. Discussion of items for State mandated subdivision ordinance. Checklist requested and Hansen Planning will develop for us. Chapter 10.4 (design standards) needs approval by Engineer Kelly Crane. Doug will have Haley contact Kelly for the approval and when reviewed she will send to the Planning Commission and Sheyenne Fence ordinance: Motion: Vic motioned to approve the fence ordinance. Seconded by Sue and passed unanimously with yet votes by Vic, Sue, Peggy, and Ed. Against votes - none DISCUSSION ITEMS: Tiny house ordinance. FOLLOW-UP ITEMS TOWN COUNCIL REPORT - Doug Nowell- ADJOURNNIENT: Thc meeting was adj ourned at 8.20 pm.
