Salt Lake City, Utah This agenda is subject to change up to 24 hours prior to the meeting. ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS: 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Swearing in new Committee member – Debra Ann Mills 3. Review and approval of the December 7, 2011 minutes APPOINTMENTS: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Western Governors University 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Broadview University 10:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. Nightingale College of Nursing DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1. Review proposed 2013 NCLEX-RN Test Plan. 2. Ms. Marshall discussion regarding overall trends and NCLEX-RN pass rates in Utah. 3. Review written reports from Provisionally approved programs: • Eagle Gate College • Fortis College • Nightingale College 4. Review Annual Reports: - Mountainland - Provo College INFORMATIONAL: - New Director of Nursing at UBATC: Robert Naylor. - Resignation of Velma McInnis-Edmonds, Nursing Program Administrator at Provo College. - Letter of support for Snow College Richfield Campus for provisional approval for a new ASN nursing education program (independent of Weber State University). NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: February 2, 2012. Fortis College NLNAC Exit interview early morning. Education Committee meeting to begin at 9:00 a.m. Meetings scheduled for the next quarter: March 1, 2012; April 5, 2012 and May 5, 2012.
