REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (REVISED)
FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
2025 TOOELE CITY WELLS PROJECT
Tooele City ('City') is soliciting a Request for Qualification (RFQ) from interested engineering firms to provide engineering consultation, design, and services during construction for the 2025 Tooele City Wells Project ('Project'). The City was recently awarded $4 Million federal funding to assist with development of additional ground water resources. The City invites interested engineering firms to provide the City with qualifications to perform the work.
The scope of work which is anticipated would include,
1. Drilling of two (2) exploratory boreholes on existing properties that the City has selected, and;
2. Evaluation of information obtained from the exploratory boreholes (e.g., geologic, water quality, and potential aquifer yielding data, etc.), and;
3. Proceeding with design, permitting and drilling a production well on the preferred site based upon borehole data evaluation, and;
4. Design, permitting and construction of a well house and related appurtenances
The final extent of the scope of engineering services provided under this selection process will be limited based upon availability of sufficient water quality, well yield, and available funding.
A full copy of the Request for Qualifications may be obtained by contacting:
