NOTICE OF A VINEYARD YOUTH COUNCIL MEETING December 2, 2024, at 7:15 PM PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Vineyard Youth Council will hold a regularly scheduled Vineyard Youth Council meeting on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 7:15 PM, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 125 South Main Street, Vineyard, UT. AGENDA 1. CALL TO ORDER/INVOCATION/INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2.1. There are no minutes for approval 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.1. Local Official's Day at the Legislature January 22, 2025 As part of Local Officials Day, youth councils will have an opportunity to participate in mock floor debates by submitting their own policy proposals for consideration. 3.2. Meeting Schedule for January The VYC Executive Board will vote on holding the VYC meeting on January 06, 2025. 3.3. Other Business not already on the agenda. 4. REVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS AND ASSIGNMENTS 4.1. Tentative Event Schedule City Events: Bunny Hop Egg Drop - April 19, 2025, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grove Park Earth Day Clean up - April 26, 2025 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM Sunset Beach Park Bike Month - May 2025 - All Month Vineyard Days - June 4-7, 2025 at Grove Park Movie in the Park - June 16, 2025, at dusk at Grove Park Independence Day Celebration - July 1, 2025, 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM Grove Park Movie in the Park - July 21, 2025, at dusk at Grove Park Movie in the Park - August 18, 2025, at dusk at Grove Park Youth Council movie in the Park to be determined by the Council Recreation 5k & 1K Gold Rush March 22, 2025 (hours 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM) Vineyard Days June 7, 2025 (hours 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM) 4.2. Activities Chair Report Activities Chair Darius Vaiaoga will report on monthly activities. 5. ADJOURNMENT The next meeting is to be determined. This meeting may be held in a way that will allow a board member to participate electronically. The public is invited to participate in all Youth Council meetings.
