- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall - 1979 West 1900 South, to discuss the following matters: Zoning Amendment: Request by Jacob Briggs for a rezone at approximately 2550 W 700 S, from R-1 to A-1. The property comprises approximately 5.26 acres. Zoning Amendment: Request by Jonathan Galbraith for a rezone of property located at approximately 2695 W 1700 S, from R-1 (Residential) to PO (Professional Office). The property comprises approximately 1.4 acres. Zoning amendment: An application from Jacob Jones for rezone of property located at approximately 1185 S 3000 W, comprising approximately 0.75 acre in the A-1 (Agriculture) zone. The requested zoning is R-2 (Residential).
