Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, November 21, 2024, 7 PM Meeting Place: Old Town Hall (105 S 100 E) Opening Motions Excused: Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve October meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) Local Historic District proposal update SHPO grant application update Community Outreach (Denise Trickler) Discuss Christmas at the Old Town Hall event and staffing needs Archives (Jeanne Holdaway) No update History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) No update (but currently working on 'By These Hands' book rewrite) Other Business Items 1. Give an update on the carpet and furniture project for the Old Town Hall. 2. Explain protocol for voting in a new Executive Committee in January 2025. 3. The Strawberry Days Committee is holding a quilt show in the Old Town Hall in June 2025 and would like us to help staff it. 4. Our 19 December Historic Preservation Commission meeting is cancelled. 5. Dates to calendar: - 30 November, 10 AM: Decorate Old Town Hall for holidays - 9 December, 6 PM: Christmas at the Old Town Hall event - 13 June 2025: Annual SHPO Conference in Mt. Pleasant - 14-22 June 2025: Strawberry Days Next PGHPC meeting: Thursday, January 16, 7 PM
