Good afternoon and Happy Friday! Just a reminder that we won't be meeting in person for this month's board meeting as we are busy preparing for the Christmas Tree Jubilee. However, there are a few updates that we wanted to share with you. Teen Center Update -Fremont Ribbon Cutting will be held on December 10th. Invitation is included below. -Weber High is super close. Cabinets and doors will be completed soon and furniture will be installed on December 20th. We will do the ribbon cutting in January. -West Field plans are complete. We are waiting on the cost projection and should have numbers in the next few days. I am also super happy to inform you that we finally heard back from the Dee Foundation and they have approved our teen center grant request for $75,000. WAHOO! This is the first time we have received funding from Dee's and it will hopefully open up even more opportunities to work with them in the future. Jubilee Update We are pretty well set and ready to go for Christmas Tree Jubilee. Live auction packages are solidified, we have significantly more trees this year, and our silent auction is incredible! Major sponsorships are up from last year and we are sold out at 94 tables. Casey Scott and Kimberli Green will be our emcee's for the live auction and I believe we are set up for success with the ASK! We are still in need of tree delivery crews/help on Saturday morning from 9am-12pm and we may be reaching out for Live Auction Spotters. Please reach out to Michelle if you are available on Saturday! All in all, we can't wait for another successful event! Thanks to each of you for all you have done to contribute to this very large undertaking! It seems to get better each year and we couldn't do it without you! Funding Approval/Ratification Please review the requests below and reply all with any questions/concerns you may have and your approval/disapproval. Special Needs-This month we have received requests for Bilateral AFO's (ankle foot orthoses), Firefly GoTo Seat Size 2 with floorsitter, 3 Ipads with TouchChat apps and cases and a portable mini trampoline. Requests total $5,446.48. The Special Needs Committee has reviewed and approved these requests. Wellness Space Funding Request-Four Wellness Space grants were received in the last request phase from Mountain View Junior High, North Ogden Junior High, Lomond View Elementary and Silver Ridge Elementary. We would like to transfer the remaining funds of $73,686.22 to the Teen Center Construction Projects. this has been approved by the Executive Committee.
