JOSEPH TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING August 27, 2024 PRESENT: Commission members: Sue Gestring, Vic Middleton, Doug Nowell, Brent Parker, Ed Payette, and Peggy Smith. GUESTS: Mayor Jared Campbell, Zak Kearney The meeting was held at the Joseph Community Center and called to order by Ed Payette at 7:03. p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion: Motion by Vic to accept the minutes of the July 30, 2024 meeting as written. Motion seconded by Brent and passed unanimously. Motion: Sue motioned to accept the August 14 work meeting report. Motion seconded by Ed and passed unanimously. AGENDA ITEMS: Zak Kearney - building application for garage. After on-site viewing of the location of the garage, preliminary approval was given as zoning requirements are met. Zak is not ready to submit paperwork for approval. DISCUSSION ITEMS: Fence Ordinance: changes discussed with Mayor Campbell and paperwork will be prepared for approval by the Town Council at their October, 2024 meeting. TOWN COUNCIL REPORT - Doug Nowell: . ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
