NOTICE OF LIBRARY MEETING
RICHFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY
Notice is hereby given that the Richfield Public Library Board of Trustees will meet on Friday, November 15 , 2024 at 8am. Please call Tiffany Andersen at 435-896-5169 or email library@richfieldcity.com, if you are a board member and cannot attend. Items on the agenda will be:
1. Welcome & Roll Call
2. Approval of Minutes
3. Board Training/Policy Review
4. Financial Report
a. Revenue up with fall festival book sale, still getting card fees with out of county,lost book fees being paid. So far 44 cans of food for Food-for-fines Nov.
b. Over on temp employee budget - expected to get through clean-up, and with Ofeina
c. A little over on office supplies - made a big order on book processing supplies, and accidentally put a printer ink/toner order on that line
d. Toner line is over because the one printer goes through a cartridge a month, and we needed to have a backup on hand for all printers
e. Way under on other lines
5. Director's Update on Library Status
a. Projects - cleaned light fixtures, blinds measured - will order next week, 2nd branch option? Yardley's building -anyone heard? Coffee/Hot Cocoa Bar
b. Staffing - added Cannon Anderson to pick up needed hours,
c. Event Planning - Saturday, Photographer scheduled for a phot shoot with Santa
d. Volunteer updates/Community Outreach - Post High School volunteers starting in Jan.
e. Civic Duties (City Council Meetings, Chamber of Commerce, etc)
