2. Employee Award Presentation
Carlee Shock from the recreation and arts department will be spotlighted and honored with the Award of Excellence for his outstanding contributions.
3. Staff Report
Community Services department managers have an opportunity to provide the Commission with an update on initiatives within the division. Parks Manager, Ben Frye, is scheduled to attend.
4. Park Watch Reports
Commissioners have an opportunity to report back on issues and concerns that they have identified during their visits to their assigned areas during the month. Introduction of the program for new members and discussion on re-assignments to include new members.
4. Organizational Items
- Discuss plans for the Holiday Decorating Contest.
- Review the commissioner meeting schedule for 2024.
- Election of officers to serve in 2024.
- Fill out URS documents to put on file.
COMMUNICATION ITEMS
Council Liaison Minute
Dakota Wurth, Council Liaison, will provide an update on recent City Council decisions and their implications for park operations and community initiatives, which will provide opportunities for collaboration and support from the City Council.
Commissioners' Minute
Present current and upcoming volunteer opportunities related to park maintenance, community events, and program support.
Deputy Director's Report
Curtis Dickson, Deputy Director, will provide a report on current and upcoming community events and initiatives.
Director's Report
Eric Howes, Director, will provide a report on the progress and status of ongoing capital projects. Discuss timelines and planning for upcoming projects and review of completed projects and outcomes.
