PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice of Proposed Tax Increase
Snyderville Basin Cemetery District
Public notice is hereby given that the Summit County Council, will convene as the Appointing Authority for the Snyderville Basin Cemetery District, and will conduct a Truth-in-Taxation public hearing.
The Snyderville Basin Cemetery District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. The Snyderville Basin Cemetery District tax on a $2,032,000 residence would increase from $0 to $25.70, which is $25.70 per year. The Snyderville Basin Cemetery District tax on a $2,032,000 business would increase from $0 to $46.74, which is $46.74 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, The Snyderville Basin Cemetery District would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 100% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
