EAGLE MOUNTAIN SENIOR CITIZEN ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING November 5, 2024 10 AM Eagle Mountain Senior Center 1632 East Heritage Drive, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005 1. Called to order 2. Approval of Minutes 3. Attendance 4. November Activities a. Senior Council Nov. 5 10 AM b. Election Day get out to vote c. Lunches Served On Nov 6,13,14,20,21 closed on the 27th and 28th d. Lunch bunch Nov 7th restaurant Won Won Wok e. Craft class Nov 20th 10 AM doing Christmas decorations for our Christmas Tree doing a gnome paint brush f. Exercise class on the 14th and 21st g. Nov 18th Bingo Person in charge to be named h. Donna is talking to merchants about providing rolls and potatoes. i. Need someone to maybe get a store to donate pies ask seniors to donate can goods. j. Nov 25th Turkey Boxes Pizza with be served. k. Closed 27th and 28th of November for Thanksgiving. l. Computer Class at Eagle Mountain Digital Literacy center 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. 5. December Activities a. Senior Council Dec 3 10 am b. Lunch bunch Dec 5th c. Lunches served 4,11,12,18,19 d. Wednesdays and Thursdays activities as normal e. Exercise class 11:15 am Dec 12 and 19 f. Closed Dec 23, 25, 26, and Jan 1 for the Christmas Holidays. g. Christmas Bingo Dec 16 special Meal provided by Senior Council. h. Computer Class at Eagle Mountain Digital Literacy Center 2nd Tuesday only i. Set a date for a light tour. 6. January a. Lunch bunch on January 2nd restaurant to be named. b. Lunches served January 8,9,15,16,22,23,29,and 30th c. Puzzles, art class and quilts every Wednesday and Thursday as usual with no art instructor on Thursdays. d. Computer class at Eagle Mountain Digital Literacy center 2nd and 4gh Tuesday e. Bingo January 20th at 5 PM f. Activity January 27 to be determined 5 PM a Senior Center. Trip to tour Tyson plant c. Christmas Light tour d. Art show, Maybe in Jan or Feb before Valentines we will do one day from 1 till 6 PM. e. Closed December 23rd to Jan 2 we will have lunch bunch on Jan 2 f. Tyson is paying for turkeys, Dawn is going to shop for them g. Need food list to be printed up.
