The City of Taylorsville invites residents and those interested to participate in a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Needs Public Hearing to be held in the Taylorsville City Council Chambers located at 2600 West Taylorsville Boulevard, Taylorsville on November 6, 2024 at 6:30 PM. City Officials are requesting citizen comments to determine the priorities for Community Development and Housing activities that will sustain and/or improve Taylorsville. This public hearing will help inform the One Year Action Plan for CDBG Plan Year (PY) 2025-2026. Comments may be provided in-person at the public hearing, or submitted in writing to: City of Taylorsville, Attn: Jim Spung/Senior Planner, 2600 West Taylorsville Boulevard, Taylorsville, UT 84129. Written comments may also be submitted via email to jspung@taylorsvilleut.gov. Taylorsville City encourages all protected classes to participate in this process regardless of race/ethnicity, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status or disability. Translation services are available upon request. Please call (801) 963-5400 at least 48 hours in advance. The TDD and relay number is 1-800-346-4128. The City of Taylorsville furnishes appropriate auxiliary aids when requested to afford individuals with vision or hearing disabilities the equal opportunity to participate in any federal activity. PY 2022-2023 CDBG APPLICATION PROCESS The City of Taylorsville Community Development Department announces the Plan Year (PY) 2025-2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application process. Interested applicants must attend a required Technical Assistance workshop, submit a pre-application, and a formal application. Application details are provided below. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Technical Assistance Workshop (MANDATORY): November 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Taylorsville City Hall located at 2600 West Taylorsville Boulevard. Additional information will be available on the Taylorsville CDBG website. Pre-Application Period (MANDATORY): November 18, 2024 - December 13, 2024. The pre-application phase will be completed online using Zoom Grants (www.zoomgrants.com). More information to be provided at the Technical Assistance Workshop. Formal Application Period (MANDATORY): December 16, 2024 - January 10, 2026. The application process will be completed online using Zoom Grants (www.zoomgrants.com).
