NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Oak City will be holding a Public Hearing in conjunction with the Town of Oak City Planning & Zoning Commission Regular Meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting is to receive input from the public with respect to the adoption of Ordinance 2024-02, Town of Oak City Code - Updated Subdivision Ordinance. This ordinance establishes standards for physical development of subdivisions of land, construction of buildings and improvements within the town, including, but not limited to, the construction and installation of roads, streets, curbs, gutters, drainage systems, water, and design standards for public facilities and utilities, access to public rights-of-way, dedication of land and streets, granting easements or rights-of-way and to establish fees and other charges for the authorizing of a subdivision.
