Kane County Board of Education Vacancy
Kane Board of Education member Lisa Livingston has resigned from the Board of Education effective October 31, 2024, which will result in a vacancy on the Board Precinct 3. The Board of Education will act to fill this vacancy by appointing an interim replacement for the remainder of Ms. Livingston's term (which ends on December 31, 2024) at its meeting scheduled for November 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., and held at the Kanab Center 20 N 100 E Kanab, UT. Any individual who is interested in being considered for appointment to the seat being vacated must submit her or his name to Superintendent Ben Dalton by 1:00 p.m. on November 12, 2024. To be qualified for appointment, an individual must be and remain a registered voter in the District and must be and remain a resident of Board District 3 and, upon appointment, must take and sign the constitutional oath of office. The Board will interview qualified applicants in its November 12 meeting prior to making the appointment to fill the vacancy.
